Hello! My name is Jena, I wanted to share a little bit about my cattery and myself. I am a stay at home mom to two wonderful boys.  I am also a nurse and a full time student of psychology. When I am not chasing kids or kitties, I enjoy horse back riding and dressage.  I also love preserving my memories by digital scrapbooking them into albums.
BhindBluEyes Ragdolls started because of my love of cats.  I bought my foundation breeding queen when I married my highschool sweetheart, Thaddeus, five years ago.  I named her Trousseau and she has been a great mother to her kittens. She is very maternal and is happiest while nursing a litter of 7 or 8 newborn kittens.  Shortly after we bought her home, we found out we were going to be parents ourselves.  Jase was born ,and shortly after, along came Gavin.  They enjoy having our cats and kittens around and they help to socialize them before leaving to their new homes.  I believe that having pets in the home, teaches kids compassion towards living creatures and other people.  It is not easy teaching a one year old the art of "gentleness", lol, but it CAN be done.  Jase has his favorite cat, Fergie.  She sleeps with him and he adores her.  Gavin loves all of our cats and kittens and is happy with whoever happens to flop on his lap.  Personally, my favorite is Symphony, our retired seal mitted boy.  He is more like a dog than a cat, that's his only flaw...but we don't tell him that! Our queens are lapcats that enjoy attention.  They are always sitting on my lap or flopped on their back beside me on the floor. They are great companions and are often funny to watch. We allow our kittens to come out into our house after they received their first vaccines.  They are well socialized and healthy when they come home to you.
